Crt Screen position help?
ok, I have the nvidia geforce4 mx 440, I KNOW THAT IS THE ANCIENT VIDEO CARD EVER!!!, but when i downloaded the correct drivers from the nvidia website and installed it, i adjusted my screen settings to 1440 X 760, because thats my monitors resolution and it kinda looked off centered so i right click chose nvidia control panel and click into change Crt position, i changed it exactly what its supposed to be and i clicked apply, but when i reboot or shutdown or standby it changes back where its not supposed to be, Please help? I have windows xp 32 bit, Thanks!!
Are you sure that's your monitor's native resolution? That is not a common resolution at all, it is a very wide one in fact, and most CRT monitors are 4:3 aspect ratio.
Use a standard mode that's supported by your monitor, such as 1024x768, 1280x1024, or 1600x1200 as appropriate. Non-standard timing modes on monitors can result in the geometry & position settings not being saved properly on monitors.
