Having problems with my Samsung DLP TV?
I watch my TV in 4:3 aspect ratio when watching non-HDTV, don't like the stretched look. Lately I've been noticing a smoky, spotty film like stain when I watch HDTV in 16:9, where the black bars usually are. But it goes away after a couple hours of watching TV. Does this have to do with the lamp going out. I'm wondering if there is something on the lamp, or if there is a stain on the lamp. Samsung said they've never heard of this problem. Any help would be greatly appreciated.
Are you SURE it's NOT an LCD PROJECTION TV ?!
IF it is an LCD projo....you are BURNING the LCD panel by watching too much 4:3 mode !! (only 15% or less of your viewing time should be 4:3)
And it's NOT COVERED BY WARRANTY......

You have to make the choice now before it worsens....16:9 pictures are the only choice you have for a good picture over the next 10 to 15 years...
