Light brightens up when I rev in Toyota LC 2001, any ideas?
I noticed that whenever I rev my Toyota LC, the light brighten up but when it is idling, the light is not so bright. The drive light on the driver's side is dimmer that the passenger's. Any ideas why this happens? It also seems to affect my in dash CD player as it sometimes come up with error 3 and wont play, after a couple of days/weeks it just rights itself.
You have a BAD connection some where...
1. Start with looking at the battery cables ends (clean and tight)
2. Check the Ground cable wire (big black cable in most cases hooked up from battery area to your engine block)
3. Feel with your hands.. if you can reach the back side of drive lights (connection could have got alittle loose or corroded over time)
The error 3 from your cd player could be a warning its not getting a good ground signal or the right amount of power.
