S-Video connection help?

OK I want to connect my PC to my LCD TV on Svideo, the TV is a LCD TV Panasonic Viera 20" 640x480, I only want to watch movies cause the PC is a HTPC would it loose much quality because of the SVideo jack? I have DVD movies SD movies and 720p movies, I will run them downscaled to 640x480

You can connect the PC to the TV's s-video input - you will need a converter:

Keep in mind that the picture on the TV will not be as clear as the picture on the computer.
