Discovery Wonderwall Expedition Connecting to laptop computer. A popping noise happens when i connect?
I connected the projector through a/v cables then through a vga/rca adapter to connect to my laptop. Once I connect it, all I hear is a popping sound and no image. I am looking to have the images from my computer show up on the projector.
What you need to check is that your laptop has a TV/Out feature (many late models have this feature, some don´t), so that this particular adapter that you have purchased can effectively work with your laptop and your projector. I may think your Laptop does not have the TV/Out feature, that is why you are not geting any signal from your Laptop. If this were the case, what you will need to do is to purchase a VGA/RCA signal CONVERTER (not an adapter) so that you can convert the signal from VGA to RCA and then you can successfully project your image thru your projector.
